<p>You don't need the CD.</p>
<p>Install gParted in Xubuntu from the Software Center, open it, select the correct drive from the drop down list, right click on the partition in the main window and select the Label option and give it the new name.  You might need to unmount the disk first.</p>

<p>Then, remount the disk and it should have the new name in /media.</p>
