I depends on what you want from an e-mail client. I like to fill my
private e-mails with pictures and gifs and silly decorative formatting
(kid stuff, I guess people will say). In Claws Mail you have to use "an
external editor" to send HTML mail. The only external editor I'm
familiar with is Abiword. So I would end up sending a text mail with an
Abiword document attached. No thanks.<br>

I do find that the SeaMonkey "internet suite" is a whole bunch lighter
than using Firefox and Thunderbird separately. Even Puppy uses (or used
to) Seamonkey as it's default browser/e-mail software. It works and
acts pretty much the same as an older version of FF/T-Bird.<br>
