Hello- in March I ordered 32 bit xubuntu 9.10 discs
for myself and a friend. Been playing with them since then and can't install.
Ran the check for defects and it showed a file error. Install gets so far, then
shows Error 22. Don't know if our discs are junk, but would like to know if
there is another one available that will get us past this problem.

My computer skills are such that anything more than
turning on the computer and inserting a disc in the drive is challenging, so any
hints have to be at the most basic level.

Am I better off just going ahead and trying Xubuntu
10.04?

Btw, both of us are running 9 year old Compaq
desktops.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
