All I find there is the following with no mention of Xfce.<br>

"Launch GNOME services on startup" ....which is selected<br>
"Launch KDE services on startup" ...........which is unselected<br>
<br>
No Xfce option available.<br>

As far as I know: you don't need KDE services by default, but you need
gnome services (at least in 8.10) eg for "network-manager-gnome"
