Alex,<br><br>No, it's easier than that.<br>Just boot off the Ubuntu Live CD, and install Ubuntu to the same partition that Xubuntu is currently on.š The Ubuntu install will update grub2 so that the menu will offer Windows XP and Ubuntu.<br>

the rason i am asking because i already have šhad bad experience<br>
reinstalling xp after experiments with grub2.<br>
