There were "release" builds of PPC for Ubuntu and Kubuntu, and afaik, they didn't receive any additional or special testing . . . so I am checking to see if a "release" build of Xubuntu 7.04 for PPC can be rolled.
<br><br>What Vincent said still stands, though . . . PPC is a port, and isn't officially supported by Ubuntu at this time. <br>

</a><br><br>That is the 4/15/07 image, the same build that was used as the final release of Xubuntu on i386 and AMD64. If the PPC tests are successful, they will mark it as final. Follow-up with me via email directly to report a successful test.
<br><br>Along these lines, any users interested in maintaining a PPC port for any flavor of Ubuntu should really step up and get involved. =) Official PPC support for Ubuntu was dropped in February of this year. That wasn't that long ago, but it will really take a solid community effort to keep it going past this point.
