Hi, browsing smb shares within thunar (your file manager in Xfce, which is the Xubuntu Desktop Manager) is not as easy as it might be in Ubuntu with nautilus ( your file manager there). You can find lots of information about this topic in the xfce mailing list archive ( <a href="http://foo-projects.org/pipermail/thunar-dev/" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">http://foo-projects.org/pipermail/thunar-dev/</a> for example). But they will all show you that the developer of thunar thinks, that this should not be done by him, but by people developing a samba file system. So what you would need to do is mount your samba file system to a mount point using e.g. smbfs and then you can go there with thunar. If you need to have something like this without beeing able to do some scripting yourself, you might be better of with Ubuntu.
