file called foo.release or something like that but I can't remember
where it is but you can do "uname -r" and that will tell you the kernel
release and if you have 2.6.17-10-generic you have Edgy, if it is
2.6.15-<something i can't remember> you have Dapper .... anything
earlier you should upgrade and if you have 2.6.20-<something> you
have a Feisty Alpha release<br>
