No you aren't missing anything at all, but if in the event there is a bug somewhere in the code for the Xfce Beta that might only be run in some obscure situation (such as booting from suspend) it could in theory be the problem. But I do agree that it is more likely an ACPI or APM issue which I wouldn't have the slightest idea on how to fix and/or might not even be fixable at this point in time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but how would an updated version of Xfce help with resume-from-sleep? Isn't this more an ACPI-type issue? <br><br>I know that suspend functionality hasn't historically been one of linux's strong points. I thought that this type of functionality (a lot of the desktop/laptop-type stuff like wifi and suspend/sleep/etc.) was going to be a big focus of the coming release of _buntu.
