I run a 333mhz w/ 256mb of ram and I can run firefox 2.0, gaim, xchat, gedit, several terminals, beep-media-player (with music playing), several applets, etc. and it runs fine for me. Even when I only had 128mb, it ran ok (I just had to watch my memory consumption and I did notice that Edgy consumed more memory then Dapper). But maybe I'm just so used to using a slow computer that I have lower expectations then other people? *shrugs* lol
