[xubuntu-users] How to check burnt iso

I have installed xubuntu 24.04.2 and it has worked perfectly.

One thing i didn't do was check the burnt iso. I thought one put the
iso in the DVD drive. Went into Thunar, right clicked on the drive,
selected 'open in terminal'. when the terminal opens one has
james at PC:/media/james/Xubuntu 24.04.2 LTS amd64$

I thought one just types
sha256sum Xubuntu 24.04.2 LTS amd64 [and return]

but it comes up file not found.

That's what i thought i remembered doing [just like when you download
the iso before burning sha256sum xubuntu24.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso].

Be grateful if someone could put me right.
