[xubuntu-users] Resolution and DPI

Concerning the problem mentioned in my emails in February I finally found the following solution that works:

xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 1280x1024 --scale 2x2 --fb 2560x3968
xrandr --output DSI1 --scale 1x1 --pos 0x2048
calculations are the following:
TOP - External monitor (1280x1024), 2560=1280x2, 3968=2x1024+1920 (total area of both monitors)
BOTTOM - Laptop monitor (1200x1920), 0x2048=> laptop monitor, left=0, top=1024x2)
