[xubuntu-users] Chrome Sync in Guest Login

I'm looking for some help resolving a sync problem with chrome between
template and guest logins.

We are using Xubuntu in an education environment and have set up templates
unique to each classroom but having students use guest login. However,
after setting up Chrome with requested bookmarks and relevant
Username/Passwords for sites in Template every time we change to Guest
login Chrome is not synced (and as such does not have any of the
Username/Passwords) giving the message 'Sync is not working - Sign in
details are out of date' and when preparing to update password the message
'There has been a change to your Google Account. For your security sign in
again'.

Is this an unavoidable limitation of using the Guest/Template setup? Or is
there a simple fix I have missed?
