[xubuntu-users] dragging document icons to reposition them in the top menu-bar-type icon list apparatus

Thanks Don and Fred!

So the secret seems to be:

(1) right click somewhere empty on the panel
(2) choose Panel > Panel Preferences
(3) click on the Items tab
(4) double-click on the 'Window Buttons' line
(5) go to the sorting order popup, and select 'None, allow drag-and-drop'.

And, when i said 'icon', i should have said 'Window Button', i think.

Note that when i right-click on a Window Button, the menu items (such
as move) seem to refer to the window itself, and not the Window
Button. (That's fine, since i can now drag and drop the Window
Buttons, and probably useful as well.)

Thanks again for your help in getting my desktop much better organized!!
