[xubuntu-users] XUbuntu Core, meld: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system

I previously asked the question of,

on SO before, but now realized it is most probably a *XUbuntu Core* *specific
*issue.

Please check out the above SO post for details first.
Now, the reason I think it is a XUbuntu Core specific issue is that,

The system I'm having problem is based on XUbuntu Core, whereas
I have another system that I installed via net-install, and for this
specific system, there is no issue with meld.

Since I'm installing everything the same on both systems, the natural
conclusion I have is that it is a XUbuntu Core specific issue.

Comments, Solutions...?
