I hope it's not going away. Ever since Dolphin broke permanently,
failing to load icons completely, Thunar is the only file manager
capable of correct loading and navigation of Windows shares (which I
have to use in a corporate environment).

The Dolphin problem under 15.04 up appears to be unresolved dues to
disputes over 2d and 3d rendering, Plasma libraries, XRender, and a host
of other things which should have been fixed before release.

Without Thunar I will have to use Windows (*shudder*)
