If that feature is also called "dwell-click" you may be able to disable
it like this:
open a terminal and install dconf-editor
sudo apt-get install dconf-editor
launch dconf-editor
browse to: org->gnome->desktop->a11y->mouse
uncheck dwell-click-enabled
select: dconf editor->quit
May need to log out, then back in.
