George,
Great. Just thought the team might need a little "good news" now and then.
My PC is a newer build, with a quad core ASUS motherboard (without UEFI)
and just about everything is new except for the WD hard drive and my DVD
drive. Have 8 gigs of DDR3, so it is plenty speedy running Xubuntu 15.04.
Have not been on the Xubuntu mailing list for long.
