[xubuntu-users] Grub - How to Remove Entries from Boot Menu

Hi Paul,
I just installed Xubuntu 15.10 but Grub-customizer fails to open. When I check the environment, it shows that the file "device.map" in /boot/grub/ is missing (indeed it is). Maybe that's because in my thinkpad R500 I put an ssd in the main sata drive (with both win7 and Xubuntu / + /home) and a regular Toshiba HDD (storage) in the ultrabay from which I took out the sata mounted cd/dvd drive.
Can you help?
Cheers,
Janusz
