[xubuntu-users] 15.10 Occasionally Hard Freezes

I just noticed that even though the system is frozen, the clock widget
continues to update the time. Nothing else updates.

I also noticed that just before a couple of the freezes the following is in
the log:
Nov 18 12:31:33 lowercase systemd[1970]: Time has been changed
Nov 18 12:31:33 lowercase systemd[7983]: Time has been changed
Nov 18 12:31:33 lowercase systemd-timesyncd[562]: Synchronized to time
server 91.189.89.199:123 (ntp.ubuntu.com).
Nov 18 12:31:33 lowercase systemd[1]: Time has been changed

Maybe the problem is time system related?

Ian
