You can test your browsers active flash version at 
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
I use Pepper Flash in Ubuntu 14.04 with Chromium, since it offers a more 
recent version than Adobe.
Use google to find out which version suits your setup. I used 
searchwords: "flash ubuntu 14.04"
