[xubuntu-users] Lost Libraries

Hello,

I have done something rather stupid. I used aptitude to try to remove
plex manager. The report from aptitude was that plex could not be found
but offered some other files which were probably libraries to delete.
Stupidly in the hope that this might disable plex I went ahead.

As a consequence Synaptic Package Manager bombs out after I enter my
password and I cannot install Muon Package Manager or Muon Software
Centre using Ubuntu Software Centre. They seem to install up to a point
but then USC gives up and forgets about it.

Please does anyone know which libraries/files are likely to be missing
and how I can re-install them?
