[xubuntu-users] 15.10 - isn't there just a normal 'install' from DVD now?

I have had no problem in the past installing onto even quite old kit
(7-8 years and more) but 15.10 seems to have chosen the scenic route.

No, indeed. I think perhaps the developers are using much faster boxes
and may perhaps have neglected to provide for the new user with older
equipment.

Updating the documentation to explain the position would be a good start.
