[xubuntu-users] 15.10 - isn't there just a normal 'install' from DVD now?

My systems (as in my personal desktop and laptop) would probably have
started quite fast but this was on an old[ish] system that I was
installing for a friend.

Not a good start for someone who is new to Linux.
