Same here. I only consider a complete install from CD/DVD for every release. 
Only install if md5sum/sha*sum is correct. Upgrade I would avoid whatever you 
read. With an upgrade you are leaving your hidden files... and if one relating 
to video is remaining that could conflict with a new release of Parole (or 
whatever you are using).
