[xubuntu-users] Installer: How do I configure network?

Go to settings and look for Network Connections.  Is your connection
listed there?  Mine is listed as wire since it is a wired connector.
Select it, and the edit tab should be available.  Look for a tab that
is IPv4 settings. In that tab, change the method to manual, and you
can enter your fixed IP.
