On my Lenovo laptop with hybrid intel/amd graphics Xubuntu 14.04 is the only new linux that works. I have also tried Ubuntu 14.04, Kubuntu 14.04 and they boot in low graphic mode; Manjaro and Mageia freeze during booting. Why is Xubuntu handling my graphic cards better than the others? The grep vga command only shows the intel card. Thank you.

1. Right click on the Whisker Menu and select "Remove"
2. Right click on the panel and select "Panel"->"Add New Items..."
3. Select "Applications Menu" and hit Add
4. You may need to right click the new menu and select "Move", then drag to the desired location

I've been trying to find a way of customising it... to go back to the plain menu like 13.10 and before. I just prefer the old style - have I missed a setting.
