[xubuntu-users] need help for logging into xubuntu 13.10

i could not find anything important but that might be because i am missing something important. not exactly an expert in this!

Som. simply remove the .Xauthority file, you can also remove the .ICEauthority file while you are at it. They will respawn and you will be able to log in 


already tried this but with no effect. still looping into the log in page again and again.
