[xubuntu-users] Dell XPS, Realtek audio switched to wrong output device

Hi,

I tried the pulse volume control as well. I can see two options on the
output devices panel:
Speakers and
Headphones

Both are referring to one of the jacks on the right but there is no
entry for the built-in speakers (these are probably the ones referred to
as "rear speakers" under windows).

There is also a configuration tab on this panel, I tried all of them to
no avail. Any other ideas what I could try?

Cheers,
	Andy

try: sudo lshw -short
to list your hardware
