Neil many thanks. I found what I needed to do (not really an IT guy) but I 
wasn't sure of the values to enter.

However, for me the digits were still slightly out. Maximised and then ssty 
size produced 29 x 83 which wasn't quite maximised... perhaps it's this 
particular monitor. So I tried again entering in 84 x 31 and then that was 
fine.
