Thank you, Ralf.  This thread should be closed, as I am now trying to load Ubuntu (full) to my hard drive, instead of working with Xbuntu on the disk.  First try had glitches, so am going to try again. Bob

  JFTR the "ls" in "lspci" is for "list".
