[xubuntu-users] WiFi on "Try It"?

One frustration I had was to get the right drivers for the laptop I'm using
now.  It turns out that the drivers that Xubuntu pulls down for Broadcom
wifi cards don't work and you have to unload them and load the right ones.
My wifi is Belkin which uses these  drivers.

If you are using Broadcom firmware this is likely to be the problem. This

I can vouch for it working!  It was the first job I had to do a few months
ago (in fear and trembling) when I started with Xubuntu.  It is quite
instructive and breaks down inhibitions...

It's hard to be sure if you don't fully describe
