14.04 Should be similar in the area of automatic login, so the 12.04
version of it should work, as far as I've tried on my Arch box (with a
somewhat newer version of Lightdm than Xubuntu) it worked.

The 12.04 faq (http://xubuntu.org/news/faq-1204-precise/) should help with
this. You'll want bullet 7.
