I have a fairly long list, but I agree it's not a major problem...but
that's because I know about the CLI options. New users typically don't.

Servers are a separate problem: I maintain a few where I keep a much
more extensive list, because many of the items are not in any repos, and
have to be downloaded and installed in the traditional GNU
configure/make/install manner. And some of them have deeply conflicting
dependencies on weird stuff :-)
