That's a good advice, but Roger, next time please consider to trim your
post, to avoid top posting and not to send multipart/mixed, but instead
plain text.

Not following the guidelines happens often on Xubuntu, Kubuntu and
Ubuntu Studio mailing lists. On most other mailing lists this doesn't
happen.

Text should be wrapped after around 72 chars, "endless" lines are only
welcome, when posting code.

If an issue is solved, then it's common practise to add '[solved]' to
the subject.
