[xubuntu-users] problems with notes and hplip

Hi

For some reason the yellow notes program (notes on the menu) as well as
hplip have both stopped auto loading,  notes won't even run from the menu

what are these applications called as in what executable file is called
from the menu, I can't find a menu editor either to try and find out.

Rather irritating , using xubuntu 14.04

They both used to auto load too.
