[xubuntu-users] 14.04 screen corruption sometimes when screen saver has been active

Greetings,

Upon LTS upgrade to 14.04, I am noticing sometimes when I move the mouse to clear the screen saver, the entire screen will not repaint itself to clear the screen saver away.

Once I get most of the screen to clear, I must still drag my mouse over the top panel to get that to redraw, else I am stuck with residual screen saver graphic rather than the top panel.

I am thinking that the fact that it is a "some times" problem is dependent on how long I have been away from my computer / how deeply it was able to get in its various power savings sleep modes.

Screen Saver is Skyrocket from package rss-glx
I have an Nvidia board running the binary drivers

Any suggestion of what to check? Any suggestions which package I should open a bug against considering my configuration?

I am thankful,
