[xubuntu-users] Xubuntu; Phone Camera as PC USB-Camera ??

Halo.

I have Sony Ericsson X8 with 3.15 MP camera. I do not use the device
as a phone anymore. It has no SIM card now. It is for having alarms
and listening to FM radio only.

On Xubuntu 14.04, can I use the phone as usb-connected camera ?
I mean: It is connected to my PC by using USB cable and Xubuntu
detects it as a camera. Both the phone and PC are "offline".

Is it possible ?
Could you tell me the url related to the above ?

I have seen some sites discussing about this, but the phone-camera is
used as WebCam that requires internet connection.
