[xubuntu-users] system is unable to read and mount blank CD-DVD

 I installed Xubuntu 12 ... later updated to version 13 ...
both before and after upgrading the hard drive correctly reads files in DVD
and CD writing. If you put blank media, DVD or CD to a burn, the system is
unable to read and mount the same

how can I do to fix it?
