[xubuntu-users] Vertical panels on the right edge

Ever since I started using xubuntu a couple of years ago, I have been
wanting to put at least one of the panels vertical on the right side
of the screen.  I have yet to see a way to do this.

AFAICT, vertical is always on the left and horizontal is always on the bottom.

I'm running Xubuntu 12.04 with the 3.8.0.31 (precise1) kernel and lightdm 1.2.3.

Any suggestions?
