[xubuntu-users] Package manager error

Yes, it seems that server may not be responding to your request.

Seems the typical fix is this:

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf
sudo apt-get update

I'd backup that folder first before removing all those sources though.
sudo cp /var/lib/apt/lists /var/lib/apt/lists-backup
