Well i've tried Fedora xfce Abiword ver 2.8.6 - no problems at all.
Why on earth did development put an Abiword development version ver
2.9.2 on an LTS xubuntu release (12.04 in my case). A lot of grief for
me when i needed to type a largish document. good job i've got a spare
machine.
