I'am using *Xubuntu* ...

I want to change in *ip_forward* file in */proc/sys/net/ipv4/* directory
but i cant, it show that I don't have privilege to do that even
with *sudo* command ... But I need to change in that file to test some
attacks in my network "I'am a pentester".

i asked some friends they told me that I can't change in any file in
proc directory but why !!!! I remember I can do that in *Ubuntu* and
in *Kali Linux* ...
