Actually I already had downloaded and burned the iso for v 12.10 but I 
deliberately chose to install v 12.04. It is an LTS version, and I do 
think that those are more stable than the 'in between' ones.

No doubt there are a few changes and tweaks in 12.10 but for what I do 
on my computer I don't think it matters.
