[xubuntu-users] Maya Xfce - should have known better

Since Mint is based on Ubuntu 12.04, you could install
xubuntu-desktop.  I am not sure how well it will play with the stuff
installed by Mint since is used XFCE 4.10 and not 4.8, but if you are
going to reinstall this might be worth a shot.  You might have to
modify your apt sources to included the Ubuntu repos if they are not
there by default.
