[xubuntu-users] Xubuntu install fail due partition auto mount defeats Gparted

Hi,
I'm having trouble installing Xubuntu using manual partitioning. I've
logged this bug:

Is this a known issue ? Is there a work around ? I've tried deselecting
Auto Mount in Thunar settings but this had no effect. Is there a way of
turning off and on the partition auto-mount? Its a useful feature for
partition sharing over my network but with it on, its not possible to use
Gparted.
