Hi. 3 things you should try:
1. make sure the ISO you downloaded is OK:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM#MD5SUM_on_Windows
2. put the ISO to the  pendrive by using unetbootin:
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/\
3. check hard disk for errors:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors

and then try to install. Good luck!
