[xubuntu-users] thunar, nautilus and ipad

On my laptop, I still have Ubuntu-11.10 and when I plug in my iPad,
nautilus comes up - great.
Now on my desktop, I run Xubuntu, and after plugging in my iPad, nothing
happens. I can start Thunar, the default file manager, but it does not
see the iPad. I can run nautilus and it sees the iPad, but it is not
automatically started.
Is there a way to make nautilus the default file manager for xfce?
