OK, thanks to everyone. I installed Opera and it is now at least 20
times faster!!! I had been using Firefox for years on Ubuntu and never
had problems before???

How do I make Opera the default browser??? For example when I click a
link in an email how do I set things up so Opera will be used rather
than Firefox??? As it is now it still starts Firefox even if Opera is
running!!!

Thanks,

Gérald
