[xubuntu-users] Lightdm doesn't star automatically [SOLVED]

Two solutions:

1) Change /etc/X11/default-display-manager to use the FQPN
/usr/sbin/lightdm (thanks, Francesco).

2) Add "service lightdm restart" to /etc/rc.local (thanks, Joshua).

Both work.
